I promise I will have pics up soon. Between all the kids, including me taking turns being sick for the past 2 weeks, soccer games/practices, wrestling, school (both myself and the kids), and not to mention midterms this week; I hope to be able to breathe long enough to post and take pics. JD just got home and leaves again, he will have been home a total of five days, gotta love ship life. As for how we are all doing…alive and surviving. The kids are all better and bouncing off the walls. I have one midterm down and two more to go. We are heading up to Dad’s on Friday so I will be able to sit and let someone else play with the kids (I get to study for a midterm, Yeah!). So till next week, love to all!!!! Gotta get my kids fed and in bed, way past bedtimes due to sports.
Taking back our beach!!! September 28, 2008
This weekend was the Neptune festival, when the locals take back their beach. The large finale is the sand sculpting. So the kids and I, JD is still out to sea, went to “take back our beach”. It was a beautiful evening, locals only pay $1 parking after 5 PM so we always go to the beach after that time. After the storms we had, there were some “treasures” on the beach as well as some gorgeous sand sculpting. Mom, after I talked to you we found the professionalsand sculpting-we went the wrong way on the boardwalk. So enjoy the pictures. One last thing, IT IS GOOD TO BE HOME!!!!!

Random pics… September 21, 2008
Here are a few updates and random pics of the kids from the past week.
Roc – she is now in middle school and enjoying it. She is doing valleyball and wrestling. That’s right my daughter is doing wrestling and she is the only girl. GIRL POWER!! Anyway, she is enjoying both. Actually, each sport is considered an intrumal sport and she will try out for the team in the spring. She is doing good and like I said loving both sports.
Joele – will be seven on Tues, growing too fast. Second grade is going good, her reading has improved tremendously. Each practice she is getting better and stronger at soccer, but the main thing she loves the sport and always has a smile on her face.
Gage – also doing good in school. At this age watching soccer practice and games are very chaotic, but he has fun. It is hilarious when he is on the field yelling “Come on team we can get the ball”, at this point I usually have to tell him to stop talking and look at the ball. But he has a blast.

With JD out to sea, we decide to just have a small party. So the kids and I invited some friends over for a ice cream party (Joele didn’t want cake). Then the girls had a slumber party. It was nice and small and we had a blast!!!

Our critters September 21, 2008
Here are some pics from Friday of our six animal children in the house. I know too many but they are TOO CUTE!!! Roc and I literally sat for about an hour just watching the guinea pigs sociallize. They are the best pets for the kids, and JD and I enjoy them as well. Crystal has become quite the little ”pig herder”, she will sit for hours in front of their cage just watching them.

Having fun… September 7, 2008
Last weekend the Cherry Poppin Daddies where playing at the ocean front, we of course went. So my loving family was tortured with having to listen to swing music, and of course I forced my kids to swing dance. They might not have enjoyed the music, but we had fun!!! After a while, I gave in and we went down to the beach to play. Oh, did I mention this was a free outdoor concert on the boardwalk. Mom, ya missed it.
