Well, Joele’s school is having a Daddy/Daughter dance this evening and since JD is out on his cruise, Dad was able to come down and take her. Thanks Dad!!! Here are some pictures of them both. Again, I just have to say thank you Dad for being there for Joele when her dad was unable to.

Roc has a booboo…. February 12, 2009
On Friday, Roc fell during PE while playing volleyball and landed on her right wrist. We went to the ER and they were unable to tell if she had a fracture or not. Unfortunately, due to swelling and where they think the fracture is, through the growth plate, they were not sure if there was a true fracture. So they put her in a hard splint and sling. Well, on Tuesday during school she pumped into a desk and said she heard a crack and her thumb was numb, so of course back to the ER. Still not sure if there is a fracture, but this time they sent her to the orthopedics and they put a cast on her. As you can see from her pics, Roc picked the camo wrap. We go back to the orthopedic on Tuesday for more x-rays, and they will go from there. I will keep all posted.

My baby is 5!!!!! January 20, 2009
I still can’t believe my baby is 5 years old!!! With JD out to sea, again, I was not in the mood for a big party. So we met some friends at Chuck E Cheese and the kids had a blast, then back to our house for cake and ice cream.

Ok, so it has been awhile, and I am not promising how often I will be posting. So here is some updates. We had a great, busy Christmas and New Year. We sent most of December up at Dad and Barbara’s, hunting season. I am proud to announce Roc got her first and second deer, I left my camara at home so once I get pics from Barb I will post them. Dad and Barb came to our house for Christmas Eve and Christmas morning. We then went and sent Christmas evening with John and Laurin, and the rest of JD’s family. We had such a nice holiday. Now we are all back in school, and busy again. With JD’s upcoming cruise I have decided not to put the kids in soccer, it was just two hectic. So now Joele and Gage are doing gymnastic on the weekends. They are having so much fun and Gage can now do cartwheels and handstands inside without getting yelled at. Roc is starting her official wrestling season and is very excited. Well, that is a quick update so here are some pics.

Wrestling November 15, 2008
Roc had her wrestling meet this morning. She had three matches, unfortunately she didn’t win either but she did good. She was pinned in all three. Her second match was awesome, she was winning in points and then got pinned in the third round. She was very upset after each match, but is pushing on and sticking to it. Roc absolutely LOVES wrestling. So below are some pics of her and her matches. Also, she received Honor Roll for the first nine weeks, four A’s and two B’s.

Month of October November 8, 2008
Ok, here a some pics from our month of October. Both girls received student of the month…Raquel for Diligence and Joele for Respect. Also, pictures from Gage’s first school field trip. His class went to Hunt Club to pick pumpkins and learn about farm animals. We went to Dad’s house and as always enjoyed ourselves. Dad, I can’t thank you enough for helping Roc with her science project!! Ok, know let me talk about Chester, TOO CUTE!!!! I took more pictures of the puppy then I did my own kids, he is just to silly and sweet. Then we have pictures of all three at Hunt Club for a FRG (Family readiness group-Eisenhower) social. Thankfully, JD came home the day before Halloween. So finally we have pictures of the our home decorated for Halloween and the kids. Friday night we trick or treated in our neighborhood and Sat. night we went to the zoo. Needless to say with three kids we have more candy then a grocery store!!!

I promise I will have pics up soon. Between all the kids, including me taking turns being sick for the past 2 weeks, soccer games/practices, wrestling, school (both myself and the kids), and not to mention midterms this week; I hope to be able to breathe long enough to post and take pics. JD just got home and leaves again, he will have been home a total of five days, gotta love ship life. As for how we are all doing…alive and surviving. The kids are all better and bouncing off the walls. I have one midterm down and two more to go. We are heading up to Dad’s on Friday so I will be able to sit and let someone else play with the kids (I get to study for a midterm, Yeah!). So till next week, love to all!!!! Gotta get my kids fed and in bed, way past bedtimes due to sports.
